Well, the 50/2 is not my most used lens, but here is an example of a 
current version 50/2 in something close to "worst case" conditions. The 
shot was directly into a bright sky and fairly low sun. Flash fill was with 
the SF-20 (off camera) dialed down a stop. Not a hint of flare.
