Subject: [Leica] 2-stops for one f-stop

Because of this (focal length differences aside) I sometimes think I should
have bought a 75mm lux before the 90mm AA as my long M lens to compliment my
35mm Lux ASPH.

(90mm @ f/2 and 1/125 vs
75mm @ f/1.4 and 1/60) Obviously rounding the shutter speeds.

50mm f/2.0. Largest aperture: f/2.0. Slowest usable shutter speed:
1/60s (or 1/30s).
35mm f/1.4. Largest aperture: f/1.4. Slowest usable shutter speed:
1/30s (or 1/15s).

The shorter focal length typically lets you get away with one stop
slower shutter speed. Total gain = two stops.
