Yes, Jerry, you are correct. Interesting thing about Chief Rufus Davis. He's
a contractor, and gets to travel.  Like his forebears, he trades things.  I
do not really know where he got the Navajo ring, but the Caddo Adaes have a
legacy of trading,  so I would guess in Navajo land, or maybe Ebay.

I  am Cherokee, and own some Navajo jewelry.  I let my Danish Squaw wear
some of it.  We also have some other examples of tribal jewelry. Leicas for
example.

Chief Davis has made a few other nice trades. He used white man wampum and
bought a fine white Mecedes to travel from one war dance to another.  Us
injuns like German machinery.
