Subject: [Leica] backyard brushpile

The brush pile behind the barn attracts several species of seed-eating
birds, two of which are shown here (more to come).
 
I don't like the background on this one but that's the typical habitat for

The Golden-crowned Sparrow should have migrated north by now; as of today
there were still a few in the brush pile:

Both photos: Leicaflex SL, 560mm f/6.8 Telyt with 14182 extension tube.
Towhee photographed on E100G film, Golden-crowned Sparrow with E200.  My
scan doesn't show how good E100G is.  I like this film.
