Hi everybody,

It's a long time I unsubscribe to this mail list. Now I come back as my
Leica gear is increasing and Leica is making new bodies. Time to have some
advices

I own this:

Leica M6 TTL,
24mm Asph
35mm cron Asph
50mm cron last model (just exchanged it with R8 and 50mm summicron)
90mm cron non Asph
trifocal viewfinder

That's all, but for me, It is close to too much (no I don't give some ;-)

I currently have just a tiny question wich interest me:

What is the purpose (if ther is one) of the little plastic round right under
the advance lever one can see when the advance lever is just pulled out from
the body, on the top part of the body? Is there a need of this part, or is
it just a plug to fill an adjustement hole?

If someone knows, I'm interested.

I read the article of Erwin Puts about the flare origin of the rangefinder
and didn't quite understood exactly what is responsible for this, if someone
too can help understanding this

and a stupid one for the road (maybe the two first were stupid too) MP or M7
for a second body?

Greg
