The total initial shipment of the new Stylus 400 digital went to Best Buy and Circuit City. My local store (also a Leica shop to keep somewhat on topic) had one ordered for me and a friend, When they checked on delivery after the big guys started advertising them in stock - and giving away $50.00 gift cards with purchase, they were informed about the deal and told that they 'would probably' get some in the next shipment, whenever that came in....... Ask Sigma how well a new mount system sells these days! Perhaps there will be a modification to the existing mount like AI to AIs or "D" or some other added feature... a whole new mount makes very little economic sense... unless they were to unveil a whole new system ala the OM 1 in 1972... perhaps a 10+ MP full frame compact digital SLR that also takes film, is no larger than an FM3a, takes f1.0/1.2 lenses in the new mount and sells with lenses for $249 retail and by the way, is solar powered... now that would justify a new mount...
