Subject: [Leica] the list

Forgive me if this has been discussed before, but as a recipient of the
digest form of this list, it occurs to me that a large portion of the list
is merely recopied text from previous email messages. Under standard usenet
etiquette, I usually would quote only that portion of the message or thread
that's necessary to supply context to my own post. But some of the last few
digests have contained probably less than half new content. Perhaps those
who receive them post by post aren't as bothered, since you read the post
and ignore the rest of the recopied material, but in a digest form, just
finding the new material buried in the recopied content can be a chore. So
I would ask those who post to consider deleting some of the recopied text
prior to sending the post. If I'm in the minority on this, so be it; accept
my apologies. Thank you.
