Is simply a back. You can go to their web site, and they clearly state that they are backs, not cameras. If their back is a camera, then so is a roll of film, and we know that is not the case. Directly from their Ixpress brochure: "Imacon's new generation of digital BACKS"... "The Ixpress digital BACK"... "The Ixpress high-end digital BACK"... and from their FlexFrame 3020 (and the 4040 as well) brochure: "3-in-1 digital camera back"... So, even they call their products a "back", not a camera...so it appears I still stand correct, and you "really wrong" as you say.
