You will not be disappointed. I have a number of the Voigtlander lenses and
it's easily the one I use the most. Sharp, contrasty, excellent, great value
for money.

I only post this link because further on in the thread I posted a section of
the full image. Regardless of its aesthetic failures you should get a hint
of the sharpness of this lens from the second image.

My family's delayed fathers day present came yesterday. At the risk of being
drummed out of the "Leicakorps", it is the Vogtländer 21/4 Skopar. I had an
Leitz screw-to-bayonet adapter from days of yore. The lens is as smooth as a
baby's a** and as soon as it stops pouring, I'm going to shoot some chromes
with my M2.

Anybody have any thoughts, experiences, comments, etc. about this optic?
