Yes, you can use the HSSM (High Speed Sync Mode) between 1/250 to 1/1000. 
Of course your aperture is (more) limited. Don't think of it as a 
substitute for fast X-Sync, it's not really for stopping motion. It's most 
useful for outdoor fillflash.
