I like the composition in both pictures.  In particular, I like
the way the 2 black boys frame the white boy in the 2nd picture,
with their hands joined (?).  There is an air of friendliness, 
and yet there is also a certain distance between them.  I wish 
that the boys in the foreground are more in focus, but perhaps 
the way it is strengthens that distance.  I also would have cropped
the pole on the right.

I must have missed but I did not realize Nick was with you in Harlan
County.  Does he wear jeans overalls (what is the word I am looking 
for ?  they were so popular back in the '70s) when in Boston ?  They
look new on him.   :-)
