Subject: [Leica] the reigning digital printer (i.e. what is it)

did i spell 'reigning' correctly?

i was wondering what the current popular printer is.... is it the
epson 2200 still? i don't mean to start yet another silly printer
thread but things go out of date so quickly now, i wasn't sure which
model is current anymore! need to update my aging 1270 which seems to
have a new banding problem every week now( i think i even have diagonal
banding! )....and i don't have space to dedicate another printer for
b&w with piezowhatever, so i want one that can do both colour and
b&w.....
summer is the time when i try to print, rather than venture outside
here in hong kong; although i have been having fun taking noctilux pics
in shopping malls! ones with skylights have nice lighting sometimes,
and the noct's depth of field can wipe out the ugly backgrounds... or
should it be 'shallowness of field'?? hehehe
   thanks for any wisdom......
