Subject: [Leica] Reality; was For Sale - Complete M kit

Has anybody really had this happen to him/her, or is it a modern urban tale?

I am not sure anything disastrous would happen in case somebody
reported other peoples cameras stolen. How could the person reporting
provide proof of ownership. And vice versa

Yesterday I had the pleasure of having dinner with the chief
photographer of one of the leading German newspapers (who brought a
Leica w/ 35 mm Lux and a Canon on with 28-135 zoom + image
stabilizer) and after our talk I could only conclude that most of the
issues discussed on the LUG are not the problems of real
photographers. But it interesting to read about them anyway. ;-)
