I think you should factor in the speed of light <vbg>

But, seriously, if one is prepared to throw out all readings less than 15cm, because
it would then be obvious that the shooter 'jumped the gun', why couldn't one also
'jump the gun' at 16cm, 17cm, or 20 cm.  In fact, what's to say that a reading of 50
cm might include a 15cm "gun jumping" along with a real slow shutter lag?
