In a way maybe but lets not forget the 50's when everyone was screw
mount Leica, Nikon, Canon and everyone including the people who are into
that stuff now had a ball having a Nikon wide, Leica, normal and canon
tele. Cept then you were getting state of the art stuff whereas now we
are getting a distinctive signature.
Yes Nikon and Canon anohter color in your palltet. with no wale bluber
to leak into everthing.

I don't think of screw mount interchanges as any lack of loyalty or due
for questioning by the House of Un-Leicalike Activities Committee.

As for putting Nikon Canon etc. glass on a pristin Leica M body or R I
recall when i was getting all excited about someone doing something my
mother saying to me "Leave them alone sweetheart they're in their own
little hell"
