Subject: [Leica] Summitar flare issue's

Karen had asked about the Summitar lens so I dug up a negative that was
pretty much worse case.  Shot into the sun, with the negative displaying
veiling glare and obvious diaghram flare.  Realistically, this is not
bad for a single coated lens.

Even though this is a web JPEG I think you can see that the lens is
sharp enough and renders detail quite well.  You can also see some of
the Leica glow coming off the concrete and filling in the lower legs of
the main subject.
