The first 45 - March 31, 1949 -- see

remember that :-}

Fins -- started by Cadillac in '48 (called fishtails), I think, grew on
Chrysler products on 55/56, exploded in '57 on the Plymouth. The '57 Chevvy
was a mild copy of the '56 Plymouth, as I remember.
