Simon,

I agree with John that this image is stronger in black and white. I took
your image in to Photoshop, used the Channel Mixer to isolate the green
channel, lightened it a bit with levels, sharpened it a touch with the
unsharp mask, did a bit of burning down the edges and it is a much more
complimentary photograph to your aunt. The one other thing I would
recommend is to touch out the bar that appears to be running into her
neck.

A nice photograph that your family will no doubt be glad to have.
