Subject: [Leica] High flying Leica

Today whilst photographing a wedding here in the UK I met a fellow Leica user Heinz Joebstl from Austria. He operates a remote control helicopter with a Leica R4S and motordrive attached to do 'aerial' shots. The helicopter flies to a height of 100 metres (about 300 feet) and, judging by the images in his brochure, the R4S must have a wide angle attached.

Nice guy who was pleased that I spoke some German as his English was very poor. He was using a Nikon to take a few wedding photographs though, saying that he would like to use leica but it is too expensive - not too expensive to strap to a helicopter which may land heavily though! He has a web site at http://members.magnet.at/foto/ if anybody is interested.
