Hi Dan,

      The earliest Leicas were intended as a  pocket camera,
though at some early point, the everyready case was offered.
Anyone know when the first Leitz everyready case was
availabe?

      Strap lugs were not added until the Leica III, but users
of the time could have their Leicas upgraded for a fee.
