I think the soon to be released Canon Digital Rebel with
a 50mm f1.8 or 35mm f2.0 may come close.

I don't think it uses AA batteries though. If it uses
the same battery as the D30/D60/10D, there are 3rd party
suppliers.

It's a SLR though.  I don't know if you mind that.
