Yep, it is no longer noon but, the metric equivalent, toon. An example 
of its use in conversation -- say by Irene to Ted -- would be:

Hey Dude, it's toontime come and have some bannock and cute little seal 
nuggets.

To which Ted would reply:

Oh Totally eh.
