My father was a professional jazz muscian and I remember him telling me his
cymbals were actually made over there; he was particularly proud of his
cymbals and I know they are worth a bunch. We are going back to the late
50's when he told me this and the cymbals were already quite old.  He still
has them, I should check.

When I drummed (no where near as well as my father) I used Paiste and other
second tier stuff.
