Tri-X is my ISO 400 B&W film of choice. Developed in Xtol diluted 1:3. I've
scanned a lot of negatives with this combination and it looks fine to me.

I have it processed in either Xtol or AcuFine...and I think I'm heading back
to just Xtol...
