G'day all,

Its again time to remind you that October will be the last chance you
have to submit entries to this years Family of Man 2 Project. As you
should know by now, the project will run for 5 years, and this is year
3, so we are now over the half way point --- I hope it is all downhill
travel from here ;-)

We look at around 900 to 1000 images every year to squeeze down into
100, and these will join those from Years one and two in the final
exhibition (we hope)

Do think seriously about getting involved. This is a project which
allows all of us to express our visual emotions and feeling about the
world we live in and share. It is a chance to show that an
international group of people who bitch fight and argue from time to
time, can still put up something worth sharing. You know we have had
people involved in the mentoring programme, which I hope will continue
next year, and the images already submitted show great promise.

Dust off your Leicas, your negs or prints and get to it.

To review the ideas of the project see

To review this years submissions, or to remind yourselves of what you
have already submitted, go to

I will be away next week, hoping to out do you all with some images of
country Australia, and I expect we will have a lot of fun as we count
down to the end of year 3

Cheers

Alastair
