Richard,

The batteries are still available in Singapore. But I have read the 4
LR44 cells taped together will do the trick.

Sincerely,

Speaking of which - I have a 35GT and the 5.6V mercury battery recently
died. Nobody in Vermont can seem to figure out what the relacement is.
Can
anybody help?

Thanks in advance,

Richard
