Adam - I use Sundance R9 inks with my epson 1280.  I use Mac OS X and 
there's a photoshop plugin that you purchase.  I feel it works pretty 
well.  Sundance has both warm inks and cool ones.  I have purchased 
cartridges from Rick Pinto, digitalartsupplies.com and directly from 
Sundance all with good results.
