Well, the Rollei is a grossly overpriced Bessa R2, but it does offer
interchangeable lenses - it's a real 35 mm rangefinder; the Leica is a
film P&S for $1000 at a time when you can get a clean M6 body for not
allot more than that. Looks like another bit of 'odd' marketing to me,
but what do I know....

I could try to be cynical but it's a pocketable made in Germany Leica
cut out of a block of Titanium and with a 40mm 6 element 2.5 lens. For
me it's a toss-up between that though and the new Rollei 35 with the
cute but clunky T. winder ? on the bottom.
