Bob, you've got to be kidding!  Olympus is definately not behind the times.
The new E1 represents the first real new thinking in the high end digital
world.  I handled one yesterday, and I must admit I was impressed.  The form
factor is just about right.  Quite compact.  Lightweight.  Battery life is
said to be remarkable, at around 3x what I get with my 10D today on a single
charge.  And it has complete environmental sealing.  If the lenses are any
good, it will be an interesting tool.  I hope Olympus sees fit to produce
some fast, high quality primes for it as well.
