I think you are right, but I dont do it consciously. That is I dont go out and look for other people's art and interpret it. Looking back at my recent stuff there is a lot of this going on. Since I quit doing color tripod stabilized "nature" photography awhile back (another static genre) I've tried to open my mind to alternatives to trees and sunsets.
