That's not as true as it used to be, and is becoming less true by the
day.

The MIS folks are taking orders for empty carts, though they're not
quite shipping.

Likewise, there's a CIS available so you can use big bottles.

That said, one of the neat things about the 2200 is the inks, so
unless you're going septone (e.g. straight grey scale), it's less
clear than it used to be whether what you gain via the cheaper inks
makes up for what you loose from not using the epson inks....
