Cars are going slower, it is obvious where you have to ride (right hand wheel track and I mean obvious to the cars) and the cars pass by wider margins. I use studded tyres and have better traction than the cars! The only time I do not ride is when there is a blizzard -- use to but I am getting old and lazy like you ;-) -- and when it is around freezing with freezing rain. This makes black ice which is extremely slippery. I am fine, remember the studded tires, but the cars are pointing every which way but the way they are headed. Damn, they shouldn't let those darn cars out on the road in winter, too dangerous!
