I didn't know people in Colorado even drove BMW's in 1974. Personally,
growing up in Chicago I thought VW and Mercedes were the only German auto
manufacturers..oh yeh..almost forgot Porsche...I had heard of BMW
motorcyles. Then I moved to "Silly Valley" in 1977...A "Beamer" in every
garage!!!
