Hey Jim:
I know where I fit into that equation. I'm always amused at people with
digital cameras who take a shot of something beautiful or spectacular
and then spend the next five minutes marveling at the digital image
while the beautiful or spectacular thing is still there. It seems to
take people out of the moment...something my Leica actually makes more
real for me. Even though I have to wait for the processing, the thing
that I experienced that caused me to take the picture still lives in my
memory and when the pictures return, it's a happy reunion that doesn't
need a computer screen or a printer. Oh well, that's me and for many
people, they see it differently. My sister has one of those little
Casio digitals and her main reason for having it is being able to see
the picture immediately after taking it. I love film so much I'm
looking for telephoto lenses for my Canon AE1 or perhaps a 135mm for my
M6. How's things down your way?

Happy Holidays.
