Nah, B.D., no prisoners; it's done right at the Leica werks

Nah, B.D., Hanns-Peter Cohn has been paying attention to LUG traffic,
especially your comments and bearing in mind the descent into brown mire of
certain equipment of Mr. Grant, he decided to make certain that all Leica
photographers keep at the forefront of their thoughts that Leicas are meant
to be USED.

Thus, he has instructed the gnomes of Solms to pre-mar the finish of all
gray MP's (they come off the production line pristine in their smooth gray
finish) so that buyers won't be afraid to USE them.

Seems right to me.

Seth LaK 9 ;-)
