Subject: [Leica] FR X500 film developer

In the 1950s, There was a developer, FR X500, that I found great for pushing
Tri-X and Plus-X.  I could really push black & white film to as much as ASA
2000+/- for Tri-X.

I wonder what the formula was and if the developer is available under a
different brand name?
