Don,

According to some of the things I've read in the past couple of weeks apparently the Russians did experiment with Thorium glass, although I have read that there is any pattern to this. All the lenses
that I have thus far the, earliest being from 1960, are clear with no apparent yellowing. I know that Leica used Thorium glass in some of the early Summicrons and have seen a couple that are very
yellow, perhaps the Russian use of Thorium glass is around that same period, the mid 1950's. Does anyone else have any experience with yellowing Russian glass?
