The best solution depends on which lenses you use and how often you 
need a polarizing filter. I have the earlier A42 (any E39 lens and the 
non-Asph Summilux) swing out polarizing filter and the "indexed" 
Heliopans in E46, E55 and E60. However, many slide films today are so 
saturated that a polarizing filter is overkill. I only carry them when 
visiting the tropics or if I am worried about reflections which 
basically translates into maybe once every two to three years.
