If what you have "in a box stuffed under [your] desk" is truly a Canon 
EOS-1Ds (in like-new condition and in perfect working order), I will gladly convert 
it to a brand-new-in-box-with-USA-warranty Canon EOS 1v. Heck, I'll even throw 
in a roll of Tri-X and a packet of D-76.

Feli, I've got one here too (in a box stuffed under my desk). I wonder if
they can be converted back to film cameras?

That Kodak back is a real killer (SCSI cables instead of USB or Firewire
... sheesshh)
