Karen Nakamura asked

>How do you subscribe to LFI in English?

Use either www.falsten.com (who are in the UK)
or www.lfi-online.com (who are in Germany).

Lfi-online appear to charge 60 euros a year for anywhere in the world,
falsten are 41 pounds in the UK plus 3 pounds for europe or 11 pounds
elsewhere. The current exchange rate is around 1.43 euros to the pound,
so lfi-online looks a better deal outside the UK. A euro is somewhat
more than a dollar at present.

LFI gets rubbished from time to time on the LUG by those who think
the price is too high for a magazine in which not every picture is
absolutely brilliant. It changed quite a lot about a year ago (new
editors, printed on heavier semi-matt paper). I'm not sure if it's
better or worse, but it's different.
