Well, I don't know anyone who loved him... but I know plenty who 
detested him. My old bumper sticker read "I'm From N.C. and I DONT 
Support Jesse Helms."

The best thing about Jesse was if you were from N.C. and needed a 
passport or visa quickly. Call Jesse's staff and you'd have it the next 
day.
