I too appreciate the magnificent way that Brian runs this list. I 
dislike "me too" posts, but in this case it is warranted, I think.

The other interesting thing about the LUG and similar groups is that 
even the liveliest ones attract a very small percentage of the total 
population. When one considers how many Leica owners there are out 
there, and how few are active on the LUG or other groups that deal with 
Leicas, (or whatever is the topic of a given group), it is amazing. A 
good topic for a graduate thesis in Sociology?
