I'm NOT suggesting a., that one would regret dealing with Kit or Rich,
nor that they don't provide personalized service - which is something
one obviously doesn't get with the Big places.

Yes, but I've found for the big-ticket items, both Kit and Rich will 
match  B&H in many cases. Or they provide service that is more than 
equal to the small price differential.  I've had many dealings with 
Kit and never regretted a single one. She takes customer service to a 
whole other level.
