I was told last November by a person in the Contax organization that he believed all
Contax 35mm SLRs would be discontinued in the not so distant future. he also believed
the Contax P&S lineup, and Contax 645 would continue. As a side note the Contax 645
seems a success, at least among Los Angeles pros. It has replaced the Fujiblad in many
local studios.

whether he was correct about the Contax 35mm SLRs, or how soon it will take place, time
will tell.
