Elmar 50/3.5 on a Barnack Leica makes a very compact shooter. It does indeed 
force you to consider composition. For several years I have used a Contax T3 
(fixed 35mm T* Sonnar) and felt that my photography improved no end. Hoping 
that using a 50mm only will further the experience.
