Subject: [Leica] Made adjustment new question

The rangefinder is adjusted by setting the zero point (infinity) and by
changing the arm length to calibrate the close focusing. The zero
setting can be knocked askew but the arm length will stay the same. So,
IF the camera was correctly set up in the past, a simple infinity
adjustment is usually all that is required.

Unfortunately I cannot say with absolute confidence that a new camera
will have been set up correctly in the factory. The proof is in the
proofs, so a careful film test is in order.
