Weren't as good for what?
Do you all realize that Linhof, Cambo, Sinar, and others are making brand 
new $3-5K medium format optical bench monorail systems specifically designed 
for 6x9, 6x7, 16 and 22 mpixel backs? And the lenses designed for these new 
state of the art systems cost as much and more than the new 50lux. 

Cambo's selling one of these specifically for the Canon 1ds.
