I'll be brief. It has a truly exceptional lens, it is light and compact,
and the autoexposure seems to be virtually foolproof, giving excellent
exposure under difficult conditions. No manual focus. It is a very high
end P&S.

I'd be interested in your reasons for
prefering the T3, besides the availability
of current production.  Does it have a
manual rangefinder and instant shutter
