You know, it's funny, because I actually like surrealist art. But there is a 
fine
line between what the Bauhaus movement, Dadaisim, expressionists etc did 
during the 
Weimar period and a lot of the navel gazing crap we see today. ;-)

Same goes for a lot of the current photography.
