I knew that! After a while, corresponding with the same people, one falls
into a short hand.
If you check the histories of  early newspapers, you'll find that most were
political papers. Many of the early newspapers' names alone would tell you
right off what they stood for.
But LIFE was really a soft sell compared to the Hearst newspapers.
